Treatment for the newly diagnosed chlamydia cases

This is the treatment for chlamydia that was diagnosed and never treated before. It does not matter if you got chlamydia more than once it is still considered newly diagnosed in this case.

Please note: in order to ensure treatment effectiveness, the sex partner(s) of chlamydia positive individuals should be treated accordingly.

Treatment for the resistant chlamydia cases

This is the algorithm for resistant chlamydia case- when it was treated but unsuccessfully, when person still symptomatic or test is still positive. This is not for recurrent chlamydia cases (check algorithm for new chlamydia treatment).
