Treatment for newly diagnosed gonorrhea cases

This is the treatment for gonorrhea that’s been diagnosed but not treated. It doesn’t matter if you’ve had gonorrhea before—each new case is considered newly diagnosed.

Please note: To ensure treatment effectiveness, your sex partner(s) should also be treated.

Treatment for resistant gonorrhea cases

This is the treatment for resistant gonorrhea—that is, gonorrhea that’s been treated unsuccessfully (testing is still positive).
